Ganpat University Incubation Centre is set up to promote innovative ideas, enhancement of existing processes and entrepreneurship by converting and translating technology ideas and innovation in various disciplines of different faculties under GUNI into products, processes and services for commercial exploitation and the benefit of society to accomplish its goal.
Ganpat University Incubation Centre provides support to enterprises that fall under the following types:
Idea Accelerator (Shishu) - Pre- Incubation
Anyone with an innovative idea which is initiated by either one or a group of members including employees, students, local entrepreneurs and/or alumni of Ganpat University are considered as a part of Idea Acceleration. Eligible candidates will be entitled to get grant support from the GUNI - IC under the SSIP, CARS, IC, MSME or any relevant funding agencies.
Business Acceleration (Kishor) - Incubation
One who has started their business or has a working model available to present or is yet to be established to take it to the next level. This can be initiated by one or group members including employees, students, local entrepreneurs and/or alumni of Ganpat University. Eligible candidates will be entitled to get grant support from the GUNI - IC under the SSIP, IC, MSME, GBPL or any relevant funding agencies.
Growth Acceleration (Tarun)
Any business which is already set up and established and generating an early stage of revenue. This can be initiated by one or group members including employees, students, local entrepreneurs and/or alumni of Ganpat University. Eligible candidates will be entitled to get grant or function support from the GUNI - IC under the IC, MSME, Startup India Seed Funding, GBPL or any relevant funding agencies.
Objective of the GUNI-IC:
- Key objective of GUNI-IC is to create a holistic ecosystem to promote innovation, startup and entrepreneurship.
- Create a support structure/ ecosystem to handhold and encourage the first line of entrepreneurs.
- Grass root innovators
- Providing continuous mentorship to the incubates or enterprises enrolled with GUNI – IC.
- Support to protect IPR
- Exposure to the venture fund/ matching fund
- Exposure to the government grant and policies
- Learn and publish the know how for entrepreneurs community
