Ganpat University – Faculty of Pharmacy in association with SSIP (Ganpat University – Incubation Centre) organized event with theme “Pharmacy: Always Trusted for Your Health” and “Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav” on 25th September 2021. The college organized ‘Rx IDEATHON: Anti-Covid Pharma Brain Challenge’ as a celebration of the “Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav” on 25th September 2021.
Total 52 innovative ideas entry were received from different pharmacy colleges of Gujarat. The different area in which ideas shortlisted were innovative processes, product development and improvement, novel treatment, immunity busters, food and neutraceuticals, biomedical and healthcare devices etc.
Different experts from various pharmacy disciplines evaluated all innovative ideas presented by participants. Total 07 top rated projects relevant to basic theme were identified by screening committee members and were then finally evaluated again by team of experts comprising of Dr. S. S. Pancholi, Dr. Bhaswat Chakraborty, Dr. D. M. Patel, Dr. Sanjeev Acharya, Dr. Ajaykumar Gupta, Dr. R. P. Patel, Dr. P. U. Patel, Dr. S. A. Patel, Dr. N. A. Patel, Dr. Pawan Gupta.
Total 05 projects were selected by evaluation committee member and amongst them first, second and third rank were awarded with trophy and certificates in the valedictory function of the event.
